What! You don't know what pbbt represents? Why don't you? It's an important and useful word. It is an essential part of modern-day "Internet culture." Everyone, and I mean everyone, should know what it means. To help you out I'll give you some clues.

  • It's a "rude" noise. Not a very rude one... just an average, not quite run of the mill rude noise.

  • It's an onomatopoeic word. For those of you who are not up on your "literary terms," onomatopoeia is the use of words whose sounds imitate the sound of it spoken out. (For example, mumble, caw, and mew.)

  • Try thinking of pbbt expanded out: pppppbbbbbbbbbt! It's is in the same category as aaaaaaaaah or argggh (not that these have any relation to pbbt.com. (-: )

  • Remember the Rolling Stones logo? You know that one with the tongue. Think harder. I know you can figure it out!

  • One final clue: You can use it when you have better luck or got your way. If you won the lottery you could use it. If you win where everyone else expects you to lose you could use this. Of course, your friends can turn around and use the word on you.

(PBBT sound button coming soon. Really.)

Pbbt is a deep noise with hidden subilties and secrets. Think of its possible uses: "Pbbt! I knew that," "Pbbt. That was awful," "Pbbt. I knew that," and you can even use it for general sarcasm. It's not always bad... it can be considered a positive.

Why did I choose pbbt?/I'm not really sure...

I chose this title, well, because it is really different then anything else out there. (-: My dream name is owenisareallycoolguyandknowseverything.com, but I was told that it was too long. I also though about funnystuffhere.com, haharhe.net, and op.com, but they didn't have the right ring to them. Then though of pbbt.com. Wow! In a surge of greatness, I said, "I'll do it!" And pbbt.com was born. Sure I could have funny-stuff.net or jotd.com, but they're boring... why go with something easy and everyone else has when you can go the other way and be different? (This, incidentally, sums up my entire attitude here at pbbt.com.)

Of course, this isn't the section about pbbt.com itself, but about pbbt itself. Now that you know what pbbt stands for, why don't you read about the history and future of pbbt.com? (-:
